Black Heart Tattoo Responds to False Allegations | Official Statement & Legal Action

Bullying, Harassment, False Statements, Defamation, and Malicious Allegation Will NOT Be Tolerated.  

Black Heart Tattoo & Gallery issues this formal statement to deny, in the strongest possible terms, the false, defamatory, and malicious allegations currently being circulated online regarding our business and our owner, Natalie Venezia. These claims are unequivocally false, demonstrably fabricated in part, and constitute actionable defamation, harassment, and tortious interference.

The Facts—Unequivocally

1. No ICE Contact. Natalie Venezia has never contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) regarding any employee, artist, or affiliate of Black Heart Tattoo & Gallery. No report was filed. No call was made. No individual was ever threatened with deportation by anyone associated with this business. This claim is a complete fabrication.
2. No Use of Racial Slurs. The allegation that Natalie Venezia has used racial slurs, including the N-word, is categorically false. Ms. Venezia has never used such language in any professional or personal capacity related to this business. This accusation is reckless, defamatory, and will be treated as such.
3. Ownership.  Black Heart Tattoo & Gallery is a partnership owned by two individuals.  I am a Black woman who has known Natalie for over 12 years. When she asked me to invest in the shop, I did not hesitate.  When appropriate and permitted by our team of attorneys, I will make a public statement, disclosing the names of those who have caused harm.
4. Inclusivity. Our hiring, mentoring, and operational practices have consistently reflected a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion since our opening.

The Conduct—Coordinated and Actionable

What began as a personal grievance has escalated into a coordinated harassment campaign involving false posts, AI-generated “evidence,” doxxing, threats, and deliberate interference with our business operations. This is not activism or accountability. This is defamation, harassment, and tortious interference—and it ends now.

Legal Actions Underway

Black Heart Tattoo & Gallery has retained aggressive civil litigation counsel specializing in defamation, online harassment, and digital forensics. Effective immediately, we are taking the following steps:

• Issuing cease and desist demands to every identifiable individual and business knowingly spreading false statements.
• Subpoenaing records from social media platforms, payment processors, and domain registrars to identify anonymous actors.
• Preserving all evidence—including metadata, screenshots, and AI-generated fabrications—for use in civil litigation and, where appropriate, criminal referral.
• Filing reports with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), the Pennsylvania Attorney General, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
• Pursuing all available legal claims, including defamation, false light invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, tortious interference with business relations, and civil conspiracy.

Notice to All Third Parties

Any individual or business that has published, shared, or amplified these false allegations is hereby on notice: continued dissemination may constitute knowing participation in defamation. You are demanded to immediately remove all such content and cease further distribution. Failure to comply will result in legal action. You will face depositions, discovery, and potential monetary liability—including damages, legal fees, and court costs. This is not a bluff.

Black Heart Tattoo & Gallery will not be bullied. We will not be defamed. And we will not allow our owners, artists, or staff to be targeted by coordinated lies.

This business remains open. Our values remain unchanged. But our patience has ended. We will pursue all available legal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
